During the Covid 19 Pandemic, Italy went into many lockdowns. All of my conversations and lessons went online and it was overwhelming. At times I spent 14 hours on the computer! This color pencil self-portrait is the size of my laptop and I was inspired by Gustave Courbet's famous self portrait entitled, The Desperate Man.
